From 2009-2012 IFFR asked for technical support in fundraising but first needed to develop the knowledge of its Board, senior managers and staff. A process of training and discussions focused on:
- The value of the organisation as seen by others
- Consideration of the IFFR brand
- The role of fundraising in building strong relationships
In 2015 DDA was asked to renew its support for the Director by working on a new Case for Support and helping restructure the IFFR boards.
